But, in keeping with the topic of lasting relationships Geeks are on the top of the list. Geeks are the best to keep relationships working, happy, stable, and giving them the means to last much longer and dare I say forever if marriage is in the equation.

The 5 Reasons why Geeks are great in relationships:

1) Geeks are true in relationships. What is the 80/20 rule? You want the 20% of what you don’t have. Geeks are not looking to have affairs.
2) Geeks are not interested in ranking. Titles do not impress Geeks and let’s face it there are many Geeks who hold very impressive titles- but Geeks love the work they do and are the best at it. Job peer pressures have little or no effect on Geeks. This translates in relationships to the fact that Geeks want you to be happy and not concerned with trying to make everyone else around you happy.
3) Since Geeks love what they do in work, Geeks have truly secure income. They are not stressed out because they hate their job – this will translate in the relationship for the best. You won’t have someone complaining on their job all night, which may add stress into a relationship.
4) Geeks are problem solvers – they analyze in their jobs. This translates into relationships the same way. If there is a problem in the relationship, Geeks will figure out what needs to be changed to improve the relationship and work at it to keep the relationship going.
5) Geeks take serious what they are focused on and want what they are focused on to work out. This translates into relationships the same way – Geeks are goal oriented and if their goal is to have a successful relationship – it will be.
